Unwanted Guest

I am not a big fan of insects, rodents or just really any animal in my house. We really never had to deal to much with these things because all other places we lived in had someone come out on a regular basis. When we moved into our home here we quickly realized that we do not want to live in a home with lots of trees in the yards. Over the summer our house had many different spiders that made their way into our home. I was not having it because we were preparing our home for the arrival of our little man, so the last thing I wanted were spiders in our house. Shortly after reporting this issue to the property management they promptly brought someone out to the house.

Now fast forward to tonight. As I wrote in my last post I wrote how my house isn't spotless but by no means is it dirty. When I was sitting on the couch reading my emails, I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. When I turned my head I saw that it was a small mouse scurrying across the floor. I immediately jumped up on to the couch in pure anxiety and wishing my husband was home to get rid of this issue. Since I was the only adult in the house I promptly pulled my nerves together. I ran to the bathroom closet to see what I could catch the little rodent in since we do not have mouse traps. I found a wire basket that I was hoping would hold the mouse in until my husband got home. I started to creep into the kitchen only to find no sign of the little mouse. I grabbed my phone and called my husband at work, as well as, the property management.

So needless to say, I am not going to the kitchen until my husband is home and our little man must be content sitting on the couch with momma for a few hours. What a way to end my day. Did I mention how I hate rodents. Goodbye, Goodbye little mouse :)
