I had a doctors appointment which means I was weighed for the first time since my 6 week appointment. Good news, I am 4 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight. Woohoo!! Even though the weight is off I am left with a beautiful muffin top and a soft body. My muscle tone is barely there, so now my goal is to buff up before this summer. I want to feel comfortable in my summer shorts, dresses and of coarse the swimsuit.
Pre-pregnancy weight: 142Ib
Today I weigh: 146Ib
Goal weight: 135Ib
To reach my goal I have started working out to some at home cardio videos. I would love to go to a gym but unfortunately I am unable to pay the prices they ask for. There are cheaper gyms around us but none of them actually have child care. As the weather begins to improve I am hoping to pull out the jogging stroller and begin running again. I have 3 months to reach my goal in the weight area, as well as, possibly losing inches in the waist line.
On top of working out again I am having to really work on adjusting my eating habits. I am only allowing sweets twice a week because I can not cut them out all together. Fruits and veggies are becoming a bigger part of my diet and snacks are becoming obsolete in my day. With these changes I am hoping that I can achieve my goal.
Here is to getting in shape.
